What’s actually happening in the mechanic is that there will be a series of three point-blank AoEs that drop untargetable bird adds, just like the birds in adds phase. These casts will target the two closest players that haven’t already been targeted by the mechanic, and it will happen 3 times in a row (for a total of 6, so all tanks and DPS).

Once you drop your add, you’ll be tethered to it, and it’ll do a dash exactly like the dashes in adds phase, the only difference being there’s only one tether per person. So you just resolve it the same way, run across from where you dropped the bird until your tether turns purple, and don’t stand in front of the bird you end up at.

Healers get to ignore literally all of this and just stand in puddles and heal out the ass. Healer towers will either start N/S or E/W, so one healer is assigned to take either the North or East tower, and one healer takes the South or West tower. After soaking each tower, rotate clockwise to the next one - each healer will soak 4 towers total. Soaking towers deals massive damage but also provides a massive healing up buff, so all of your healing during this time is insanely boosted - a great time for giant shields.

Death’s Toll + Fledgling Flight

During this mechanic, each player will have stacks of the Death’s Toll debuff - either 1, 2, or 4. This debuff can only be cleansed by taking lethal damage, and will prevent death while active. However, the raidwide immediately following Fledgling Flight (Life’s Agonies) will kill any players with a debuff remaining, so they must be cleansed by getting hit by the fledgling cone AoEs.

To resolve, simply point the fledgling cones towards the inside of the arena, opposite from the previous iteration, and then stand in the section of AoEs that corresponds to your debuff stacks (cardinals for 1 stack, intercardinals for 2 stacks, and center for 4 stacks) to cleanse the debuff.
